About Sean

Sean Finn is an American entrepreneur and investor with active interests across real estate, energy, entertainment, and health care. He’s the founder of Houston-based Finn & Company, a real estate investment and development firm with more than fifteen office and retail properties across Houston, Los Angeles, and South Florida.

Born and raised in Toronto, Finn attended Saint Michael’s College and had a brief professional hockey career. He earned his undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University and went on to study law. He started his business career in medical field with GE Capital before founding Finn & Company in 2009.

In 2016, the Houston Business Journal named Finn & Company’s acquisition of 500,000 square feet of office space from Exxon “Deal of the Year.” Partnered with Fidelis Realty Partners, the property was redeveloped into a supercenter in Houston’s 610/290 corridor.

In film, Finn has been an equity partner through Cross Creek Pictures on Black Swan, Hacksaw Ridge, and Black Mass, among other projects. More recently, he has been exploring investments in a slate of new Eli Roth film projects.

His current investments span SpaceX, where he was an early backer in 2020 ahead of this year’s IPO; X-energy, the Amazon-backed nuclear initiative; and Polymarket. He recently opened a longevity clinic in Houston and acquired a 250-acre ranch outside the city. He splits his year between Houston and Los Angeles, with regular travel to Cannes, New York, and Miami.
